What is ReportForge
It is a multiplatform software where you can configure all the reports necessary for investigations, monitoring and data analysis. It simplifies and speeds up the analysis of all data from a production site, with the aim of generating clear and accurate reports.
This software allows the creation of dashboards and report models for any type of data, which are collected from different types and quantities of data sources, like relational database (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, My SQL) or historian (AVEVA PI/ GE historian), merging and displaying all the data in a unique output
Usability
- Configuration: You can configure security settings, language and reports, queries and all software parameters.
- Query: it is possible to use the same model (query, connection...) by configuring it with the parameters of the preferred unit.
- Report: each report can be tested before being finalized, giving the possibility to understand the layout of the report once it is used
- Equipment: You can use the same report for different equipment or with different settings.
- Routing Notice: Everything configured in the tool must be approved to be effective and visible through the visualization tool.
- Viewer: in this part, the end user can analyze the site data, such as reports in tabular format
